Tabu styled a gold Abhishek Sharma sari with a backless beaded blouse

Tabu wore a gold Abhishek Sharma sari that blended structure with softness. The almost-sheer fabric—a lightweight tissue Chanderi—shimmered subtly under the lights. With pearl detailing and sunburst-like embroidery patterns, the look balanced modern sensuality with vintage glamour.

The actor paired the sari with a sculpted, backless blouse that featured strands of pearls, bugle beads and glass beads draped across it in a soft gradient of white to gold, beginning at the curved neckline. The beadwork cascaded down, creating delicate movement. Tabu’s hair was pulled back into a sharp bun, and her makeup was defined–brown eyeshadow and a deep, nude lip on a dewy base. Block heels from Fizzy Goblet completed the look.

The sari is part of Abhishek Sharma’s Nadru collection, named after the lotus stem. Inspired by a lotus pond, the collection explores serenity and form in equal measure. In this ensemble, that philosophy comes through in the fabric’s weightlessness, its precise draping and layered beadwork.
