Pakistani actor Hania Aamir wore a gilded Rahul Mishra gown with a tulle dupatta

Hania Aamir wore the ‘Queen of Thar’ gown from Mishra’s collection entitled ‘Superheroes’, centred around his love for the intricate workings of nature—more specifically, the preserving power of insects and small beings. The gown resembled a lavish beetle, a motif also carefully placed onto the encrusted tulle dupatta that Aamir carried as a bespoke addition.

While the look incorporated Mishra’s signature love for all things embellished and handcrafted, it’s also a reminder of the meaningful subtext Mishra often imbues into his collections. The ‘Superheroes’ collection enlivened a period in time where insects, snakes and “benign creatures” were the only life that existed in peace.

Aamir completed her look with her go-to glam; flushed cheeks, natural skin and old Hollywood waves, similar to what she went for with her Itrh Official’s gota and lamé lehenga in cerulean blue.
