Horoscope Today: July 24, 2025

Your inner voice is getting louder, Gemini, not because you’re overthinking, but because you’re finally listening. Right now, the work is internal. You don’t need to chase answers; they’re already showing up in small, quiet ways. It is time to lead with calm confidence. You don’t need to defend your truth or overexplain your boundaries. Not everything needs a reaction. Slow down. Clear space in your mind, your calendar, your home. What stays should support who you’re becoming. You don’t have to hustle for clarity; it comes when you stop distracting yourself from what’s already obvious.

Cosmic tip: Breathe, then choose.

You’ve done enough doubting. It’s time to trust your instincts and start showing up like you believe in your magic. That version of you you’ve been visualising? You’re already becoming them, now act like it, Cancer. Clean out your mental clutter. Let go of the pressure to please. You don’t need to fix what’s not yours to carry. Focus on alignment, not approval. Remember, Cancer, joy isn’t a reward, it’s your strategy. Rest, reset, then move with intention.

Cosmic tip: Prioritise what makes you feel alive and grounded.

Speak your truth even if your voice shakes. You’re being guided to share more honestly, live more intentionally, and stop second-guessing intuition. If it feels out of alignment, it probably is, Leo. It’s okay to set boundaries that protect your energy, even if it feels uncomfortable. The quieter moments hold the biggest insights, so allow yourself to lean into them. Focus on what truly matters, darling, to let go of distractions. Remember that wisdom isn’t about having all the answers, it’s about knowing when to pause and listen.

Cosmic tip: Growth is quieter than you think.

Your energy is ripe for real change, Virgo, but it starts with tuning in. What lights you up? What drains you? Get honest. It is time to ground yourself before diving in. Say yes only when it is an absolute hell yes! Remind yourself that healing isn’t about perfection; it’s about patience and self-kindness. Creativity thrives when you stop overthinking and start experimenting. So instead of fearing the messy or the unknown, own your journey, even the lopsided parts, because this is where growth and passion meet.

Comedians Atul Khatri and Kiran Deol discuss why the debrief is the ultimate love language between friends

Atul Khatri: My wife is the same. When she’s telling me a story, she loves to go all over the place. If she’s talking about a party, she’ll say, “You know, I met that lady, do you remember her husband? She’s got two children, one of them is studying at Stanford.” I have to keep reminding her to come back to the story. As a comedian, I’ve learnt to only include essential details in an anecdote. I keep asking her, “What’s the punch? When is the punch coming? If you had dinner, did you break a table? Did somebody run away without paying the bill?” But there are no punches: just one premise after the other.

KD: When I debrief with my girlfriends, I want to hear it as if I were there. Give me all the details so I feel like I was next to you.

AK: My male friends and I are more curt and to the point. To be honest, even if I wanted to share more details with them, I don’t think they’d be interested.

KD: It’s the same with my male friends. Recently, one of them had a surprise party thrown for him. I told him, “Tell me all about it.” He said, “It was crazy, I’ll just send you pictures and you can look at them.” I was so confused.

AK: On the other hand, I’ve sometimes seen guys discuss a single over in a cricket match for hours. How the ball swung, if the pitch was wet—they can go on and on.

KD: Maybe people care so much about ball games because they need that win. Men are discouraged from expressing anything except anger, so that’s how they channel all of their angst or the fact that their fathers didn’t demonstrate love. It’s something safe that they can put all their energy into. It lets them escape their own lives. Women, on the other hand, encourage each other to be vulnerable and feel their feelings.

AK: As a man, I can never show my weak side while talking to other men. It’s not easy to be vulnerable or admit our mistakes. Recently, an influencer friend got scammed, and when he talked about it publicly, women were far more empathetic. Most people trolling him in the comments were men; many claimed he was lying for attention.

11 things I’ve tried to fade hyperpigmentation

Of all the ingredients I’ve used, retinoids have caused the most chaos and the most change. My first attempt ended in flaking and regret. My second lasted longer. I started buffering it with moisturiser, using it twice a week. It helped with texture first, then tone. It didn’t fade pigmentation so much as push my skin into better turnover, where the healing had a chance to catch up. Unfortunately I had to break up with this skincare holy grail. It was too much for my rosacea to handle.

7. Chemical peels

The first time I had a chemical peel, I was told I might flake a little. What followed was nearly a week of staying indoors, shedding like wallpaper. But it worked, briefly. The second time, the peel irritated my skin so badly it left behind more hyperpigmentation than it took away. Then I swore off it, but I did notice it fade hyperpigmentation caused by acne scars, and chemical peels have worked wonders for plenty of people I know.

“Ironically, many of the methods to treat hyperpigmentation can make it worse,” adds Devgan. “Lasers, chemical peels, and microneedling are powerful treatments, but if they are too aggressive or not properly calibrated, they can make dark spots worse.”

8. Q-switch laser

Q-switch was my introduction to in-clinic lasers. It felt gentle, almost uneventful. Like something was happening, but nothing I could name. I needed multiple sessions, but after each one, my skin looked a little more even. Less blotchy. Less reactive to light. It didn’t erase anything but it softened the contrast.

“Not all solutions are one-size-fits-all,” says Dr Harshna Bijlani, medical head, The Ageless Clinic. “The depth of hyperpigmentation matters—epidermal pigmentation is easier to treat than dermal pigmentation, which lies deeper and requires more intensive treatments.”

9. PicoSure laser

PicoSure was the more expensive cousin. It promised more precision, faster recovery, better results. And to its credit, it did something, just not for my post-acne marks or melasma. My skin looked…rejuvenated. Years of bad habits and oxidative stress had left their marks on my skin and I saw that fade a bit after just one session.

10. Microneedling

I’ve microneedled more times than I can count. It hurts a little, bleeds a little, and always makes me feel like I’m doing something serious. For pigmentation, it helped in a roundabout way; by improving overall texture and tone, the spots felt less prominent. But I’ve also learned to respect its limits. Too much microneedling, too often and my skin pushes back.

11. Sunscreen

It took me too long to understand that sunscreen wasn’t optional. Every time I treated a patch of pigmentation without protecting it from further damage, I was undoing my own work. Sunscreen didn’t fade anything. But it stopped things from getting worse. Which, in the long run, is what made the biggest difference.

From street style to holidays—scarf skirts take the spotlight this season

Scarf skirts are quietly defining this season’s mood—draped, unfussy, and effortlessly chic. A natural fit for warm-weather wardrobes leaning toward softness and flow.

Recently, celebrities have been sporting silk scarves around their waists, be it as a skirt or over a pair of pants. Chloë Sevigny, like the trendsetter that she is, kicked things off with a Vaquera scarf, worn slung around her hip with an asymmetrical hem.

While Sevigny opted to show lots of leg, others prefer to wear theirs over trousers. On a walk through London, Alexa Chung offered an update on a simple white tee and businesslike grey trousers thanks to the brown Gucci scarf she wore over her pants. Alessandra Ambrosio had the same idea when she touched down at the Nice Airport ahead of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. Breaking up an otherwise-all-white outfit, the model slung a pale pink printed silk triangle across her waist.

Since then, the trend has all but exploded. Earlier this month, Kylie Jenner flocked to Tuscany where she used fashion to embrace la Dolce Vita lifestyle. The reality star wore a latte-hued scarf, patterned with wilting daisies, that matched her bra top. While she draped the scarf over her head to hide from the paparazzi, it mostly lived around her hips.

Lola Tung also got in on the action. Amidst promotion for the final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, the actor tried her hand at the scarf skirt trend. Wearing Coach, she opted for a grungier interpretation, wearing her C monogram scarf over a pair of baggy plaid trousers and a white tank top.

New20moon.jpg

During the new moon on July 24, an old love could suddenly reappear in your life

Alongside the ongoing Mercury retrograde, a new moon will rise in the sky on July 24 in the sign of Leo. According to Jetteke van Lexmond, co-founder of the Moonsisters and their popular lunar calendar, “The sun and Leo are both radiant powerhouses, a golden combination that feels good together”. When the sun is in the sign of Leo from July 23 to August 22, this delicious, powerful energy will be at its highest point. “This is the time to shine like the sun, to give and receive warmth and love and to be true to yourself,” says the moon expert.

Why you don’t need to fear Mercury retrograde

In July, before Leo season could start, three planets had gone retrograde in addition to Pluto, which was already moving retrograde in Aquarius: Neptune and Uranus in Aries and Mercury in Leo. When a planet goes retrograde in a fire sign (which includes both Leo and Aries), this can lead to contradictory energies. Aries, in particular, wants to move forward. “Fire signs won’t want to turn inwards or pause. At the same time, we are also dealing with Neptune and Uranus, which bring very different energies with them,” van Lexmond says. “You may experience more confusion in the coming weeks—in relation to yourself, your goals, your dreams, your relationships, your friendships and the general direction in your life. You may feel that everything needs to change. Take your time to do this. That’s exactly what retrograde periods are good for.”

Old heartaches can resurface at the new moon around July

Mercury retrograde now meets Leo—a combination that can be very stressful, according to van Lexmond, as it can bring “unrest, technical problems, disruptions in air traffic, overloaded energy grids, overheating and short circuits.” But the expert also notes that “there is no need to panic. Concentrate on what you want. Surrender and trust, but also prepare yourself for unexpected turns and longer travel times. Trust that it is meant to be. Everything is connected—chance and bad luck don’t really exist.”

You should also be prepared for ex-lovers to appear out of nowhere and for old heartaches to resurface, be it a broken relationship or a friendship that has ended. “You may even feel this physically, in the form of a faster heartbeat or palpitations,” van Lexmond explains.

Leo season is complemented by a new moon

A new moon appears in the sign of the courageous and charismatic Leo on July 24. “Lions have a big heart and a strong sense of self-worth. They go through fire for their loved ones, are creative and expressive, and their presence is often magnetic and hard to ignore,” explains van Lexmond. “However, lions can also be a little dramatic or self-centred, especially if they don’t get the attention or validation they crave.”

Under this influence, the new moon can also affect your self-esteem and cause you pain over rejection if you don’t feel seen or heard. At the same time, the new moon can show you “that you don’t need validation from others; only your own. Do you see your beautiful self, or do you only dare to shine when someone else agrees with you? Stay strong for yourself and let your heart burst forth.”

Horoscope Today: July 23, 2025

Cosmic tip: This could be your wish in disguise. And it will come true soon enough.

Something sneaky may have been ongoing behind your back, Scorps; however, now is not the time to lug all that baggage around. Were you hurt? Yes. Were you tired? Yes. Did you deserve it? Nope. Then now that you have your answer, take a day if you must, but walk through this mist. Perhaps you may enter new dimensions that you never thought were possible before this. Your world is about to take off to new heights in positive ways. Are you ready for it? Lighten the load and get ready to lift off and sparkle.

Cosmic tip: Strategise to find your way through.

You’ve got your pawns ready and you are looking out into the far distance. Sag, you may not be the one doing everything yourself; however, you are the one who can strategise and get things done. Your approach to life, the poise with which you tend to your garden, and of course, your easygoing attitude towards all that life throws your way help you find the sunshine on the cloudiest days. Leo season could be the game-changer for you, Sag. It is your fellow fire sign and a more focused energy. Make the most of this vibrant time.

Cosmic tip: Pick your battles by listening to your inner voice.

When you decide and analyse with your brain, you need tools to connect you with the cosmic wisdom. However, when you align with your heart and intuition, you become the tool that the cosmos communicates through. Capricorn, use your agility and fragility to your advantage. The very fact that you are so perceptive means that you have the ability to foresee things that a lot of people don’t, and this very quality of being able to balance logic with intuition helps you traverse landscapes that may still seem a bit foggy.

Cosmic tip: Your new beginnings are here; you can wait and watch your blooms unfurl.

Sitting in your energy peacefully, and then something happens, Aquarius. Something moves your peace of mind and feels like a shipwreck. Breathe, darling, breathe. You are a leader, and you are here to tune into your fullest creative potential. There may be a thousand lamps you have lit around you, and you don’t even know it yet. You get to decide which direction you would like your life to head in. Although it may all feel gloomy now, doomsday is not here. You can check yourself before you wreck yourself, and the Universe is supporting your journey as always.

Cosmic tip: Disengage from other people’s energy and vibes. Come home to yourself.

Cannot seem to find love or fall in love, Pisces, be it with yourself, your life, your partner or anything else? This is not you. This is the time you are waking through. Yes, you are waking up to a version of yourself and your life you never thought existed. You are waking up to the likelihood that you are more than the singular being you thought you were. You are waking up to the fact that you are more than the roles you play, the job profile you have, and the name you were given. Yes, this may feel very existential, but it is waking you up from a dream that was never yours to a dream that will be yours entirely.

Cosmic tip: Pursue new adventures and take bold action, even if it means thinking it through and taking that one tiny step.

Tabu styled a gold Abhishek Sharma sari with a backless beaded blouse

Tabu wore a gold Abhishek Sharma sari that blended structure with softness. The almost-sheer fabric—a lightweight tissue Chanderi—shimmered subtly under the lights. With pearl detailing and sunburst-like embroidery patterns, the look balanced modern sensuality with vintage glamour.

Tabu styled a gold Abhishek Sharma sari with a backless beaded blouse

Instagram.com/tabutiful

The actor paired the sari with a sculpted, backless blouse that featured strands of pearls, bugle beads and glass beads draped across it in a soft gradient of white to gold, beginning at the curved neckline. The beadwork cascaded down, creating delicate movement. Tabu’s hair was pulled back into a sharp bun, and her makeup was defined–brown eyeshadow and a deep, nude lip on a dewy base. Block heels from Fizzy Goblet completed the look.

The sari is part of Abhishek Sharma’s Nadru collection, named after the lotus stem. Inspired by a lotus pond, the collection explores serenity and form in equal measure. In this ensemble, that philosophy comes through in the fabric’s weightlessness, its precise draping and layered beadwork.

The best tinted lip balms with skincare credentials

Somewhere between lipstick and lip oil live the best tinted lip balms. It’s what you reach for when your lips are peeling, your brain is buffering and you’re in the mood for colour without commitment. The right one won’t just make you look alive on a video call or after a nap—it’ll also do the behind-the-scenes work: soothing cracks, softening flakiness, sealing in moisture.

Today’s best tinted lip balms don’t settle for wax and wishful thinking. They’re loaded with barrier-loving butters (shea, mango, murumuru), occlusives like squalane and powerful actives like peptides, ceramides or vitamin E.

Below, a list of tinted lip balms that deliver both pigment and benefits.

Lancôme Lip Idôle Butterglow Balm

Image may contain Cosmetics and Lipstick

The skincare credentials here are serious: 12% squalane, ceramides and a formula designed to boost hydration by 37% in 24 hours. But it’s the finish that keeps people hooked; a dewy glow with flattering colour payoff that doesn’t veer into gloss territory. The balm smooths out lip lines, cushions flaky spots, and over time, even softens dryness and texture. It’s comfort-first but designed to look and feel luxe, like a facial in tinted lip balm form.

LANEIGE Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum

Image may contain Bottle Lotion Cosmetics and Shaker

Laneige’s Glaze Craze is laced with polypeptides, argan ceramides and polyglutamic acid—a trio that does everything from plumping fine lines to coddling a compromised barrier. The finish is what you’d expect from the name: high-shine and reflective. It smells faintly sweet, glides on with a doughnut-shaped applicator and walks the line between playful and high-functioning.

Forest Essentials Madhu Rasa Tinted Lip Serum

Image may contain Cosmetics and Lipstick

The Fores Essentials Madhu Rasa Tinted Lip Serum folds in everything from oils and moringa to pomegranate extract and pure cow’s ghee, washed 100 times in the traditional Shata Dhauta Ghrita method, no less. The texture is light and non-sticky, the tint sheer and buildable and plenty of shades to choose from. It sinks in instantly and wears well under lipstick, but the appeal lies in how luxurious it feels on its own.

Guerlain KissKiss Bee Glow

Image may contain Cosmetics and Lipstick

This is Guerlain in its garden era. A tribute to bees, yes, but also to texture: soft, melty and just glossy enough to feel indulgent. The formula leans on honey, propolis and beeswax—ingredients that soothe, nourish and plump without overwhelming the lips. A touch of hyaluronic acid adds bounce, while a pigment-reviving compound subtly wakes up your natural lip tone.

Estée Lauder Pure Color Revitalizing Crystal Balm

Image may contain Cosmetics Lipstick and Box

Part mood-lifter, part lip balm, this crystal-inspired stick comes in six sheer, glow-enhancing shades designed to flatter most skin tones. It’s made with over 90% naturally derived ingredients and offers a pearlescent finish that walks the line between shimmer and sheen. What you’re left with: lips that feel hydrated, look luminous and give off just enough colour to seem intentional. Consider it your “no makeup, but I still care” fallback.

Dior Addict Lip Glow Lip Balm

Image may contain Cosmetics Lipstick Bottle and Perfume

A backstage favourite that went viral, Dior Addict Lip Glow Lip Bam delivers the kind of made-for-you tint that reacts to your lips’ pH level for a barely-there flush. Cherry oil, shea butter and sunflower wax do the heavy lifting on hydration, while the finish is glossy without being wet.

Givenchy Rose Perfecto Lip Balm

Image may contain Cosmetics and Lipstick

Don’t let the marble swirl fool you; this is less novelty, more nourishing staple. With a base of rose oil, shea butter, hyaluronic acid and pink pepper extract, Givenchy’s Rose Perfecto is engineered for both instant and overtime hydration. It adapts to your pH for a tailored flush and the creamy texture melts in without leaving behind a greasy film.

YSL Loveshine Candy Glow

Image may contain Cosmetics and Lipstick

A tinted balm with main character energy. YSL’s Loveshine Candy Glow delivers that slick, bouncy finish associated with high-gloss lips—only it’s powered by 98% natural-origin ingredients like maracuja oil, jojoba and shea butter. The PH Color Rush tech adjusts to your unique lip tone, leaving behind a dewy tint that feels like skincare but wears like a statement. If you’re after glow without the glitter, this is your sweet spot.

LES BEIGES HEALTHY GLOW LIP BALM

Image may contain Cosmetics Lipstick Hockey Ice Hockey Ice Hockey Puck Rink Skating and Sport

This is CHANEL doing what CHANEL does best. Moringa butter and vitamin E team up to soothe, defend, and smooth, while a subtle fragrance lifts the experience without making itself known. The balm glides on into a soft tint that look like your lips, but better.

Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint

Image may contain Cosmetics and Lipstick

Designed to play nice with your natural lip tone, this botanical oil blend (olive, jojoba, avocado) brings just enough colour to make a difference without overwhelming your face. It softens dry patches, smooths lip lines and thanks to a plumping peptide complex, gives lips a fuller appearance without the sting or sheen of traditional plumpers.

NARS Afterglow Lip Balm

Image may contain Cosmetics and Lipstick

Powered by a monoi hydrating complex featuring coconut oil, gardenia extract, and squalene, it cushions the lips while adding a subtle wash of colour. There’s no theatrics. Just a balm that knows what it needs to do.

Kylie Cosmetics Tinted Butter Balm

Image may contain Cosmetics Lipstick Dynamite and Weapon

This butter balm glides like a gloss, feels like a balm and leaves behind a finish that’s luminous but not lacquered. Jojoba oil handles the hydration brief, offering 12 hours of wear that doesn’t feel sticky or overly slippery. A solid option for anyone who wants their balm to play double-duty as a low-key lipstick.

Augustinus Bader The Tinted Lip Balm

Image may contain Cosmetics and Lipstick

Powered by the brand’s proprietary TFC8 complex—peptides, amino acids and vitamins—it targets lip lines, sagging and dullness while delivering colour in soft, sophisticated shades. It’s skincare in lipstick’s clothing, designed to hydrate deeply while subtly enhancing lip tone. If you’re invested in long-term lip health but still want something to swipe on before Zoom calls, this is the luxury pick for you.

The Devil Wears Prada sequel: Everything we know about the returning cast and premiere date

So, is Andy still a journalist? The harried energy of the second photo, where she’s seen running across a street while chatting on the phone, makes me think the answer is yes.

Who is in the cast?

The core four are returning, and will be joined by several heavy hitters.

On June 30, Deadline reported that filming was under way with Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, Anne Hathaway and Stanley Tucci all reprising their roles, plus English actor-director Kenneth Branagh playing the new Mr. Miranda Priestley.

Honestly, when we first heard that Branagh had joined the cast, we thought he was the perfect choice for Emily’s dad.… Did someone say “wicked-stepmother plot”?

On July 8, the trades reported even more confirmed additions to the cast for the sequel: B.J. Novak, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, Pauline Chalamet, Simone Ashley, as well as Broadway stars Conrad Ricamora and Helen J. Shen, and comedian Caleb Hearon. Their roles have not yet been confirmed.

Two weeks later, on July 21, Rachel Bloom and Patrick Brammall were added to the extensive IMDB.

Just as crucial is who is not in the cast: Adrian Grenier. Yes, Andy’s boyfriend Nate, he who made grilled cheese and had too many principles and was kind of a whiner about his girlfriend having a demanding job, is reportedly not in the sequel. Will he be missed? No.

The Devil Wears Prada sequel is coming in 2026

On May 23, Variety reported that Disney has set the sequel’s theatrical release date for May 1, 2026. If you’re keeping track, that’s just three days before the 2026 Met Gala, which famously takes place on the first Monday in May.

We’ll keep you updated.

The seeds you’ve planted will sprout soon, and this season marks the first glimpse of a landscape blooming with promise. With care, love and passion, it won’t be long before it flourishes into a thriving orchard nurtured by your vision and fuelled by intention.
