She spent much of 2023 stockpiling vintage – often ultra-rare – Chanel pieces, including minuscule fanny packs, five vanity cases, quilted cuboids and one pearl-shaped spring/summer 2012 handbag. Even despite Kendall’s turns on the brand’s catwalks – for which her family has been conspicuously absent – Chanel has perhaps been a touchy subject for the reality TV dynasty, sensitivity that could (could) stem from the time Lagerfeld caused Kim to sob in a toilet.
