Shraddha Kapoor is one of the most followed and relatable celebrities on Instagram. Last week, while attending a wedding in Ahmedabad, she opted for a gilded sharara set from the shelves of Anita Dongre. While we’ve seen a surge in metallic hues this festive season, Shraddha Kapoor gave the predictable saris and lehengas a miss, choosing this festive yet understated outfit instead.

The ensemble featured a golden short kurta with delicate spaghetti straps, a square neckline and a contemporary uneven hemline. The kurta, exquisitely embellished with intricate gota patti, delicate threadwork, shimmering zari and artful sequin detailing, was paired with matching, fluid sharara pants.
The pièce de résistance, however, was the golden haathichoker necklace. This statement piece was complemented by delicate stud earrings, which provided a subtle sparkle without overpowering the necklace. A stack of bangles and a chic champagne-gold glass-beaded bag tied together the metallic hues of her outfit.
This isn’t the first time Kapoor has embraced the allure of metallics. Previously, we’ve seen her shine in a silver Manish Malhotra sari. The Stree actor wore the stunning creation for the couturier’s star-studded Diwali bash in October 2024 at his Mumbai residence, further cementing her status as a style icon, unafraid to experiment with shimmering textures and tones.
