For her Met debut, the actor stepped into the year’s theme of ‘Gilded Glamour’ wearing a custom Moschino ensemble by Jeremy Scott. Ashley wore a high-waisted fitted skirt with a black satin opera coat, left unbuttoned, paired with an embroidered gold cropped bustier. Inspired by her Bridgerton character, the designer said, “It’s completely Simone: it’s chic, it’s regal, and it’s got this kind of silhouette that you don’t find on the red carpet that often.” To add to the look, she opted for a diamond necklace, jewelled earrings, slicked-to-the-side hair, and bronzed makeup.
